Here’s How to Watch All of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World Movies in Order
SHARE

I first saw Jurassic Park one fateful day during middle school when my teacher rolled in a cart topped with a CRT television, popped in a VHS tape and pressed play. I was instantly hooked and I’ve since watched the film countless times, including on a 2013 trip to see it in 3D on the big screen at my AMC theater.

Jurassic World: Rebirth came out in July 2025 as the seventh film in the franchise. With run times ranging from 1 hour and 32 minutes for Jurassic Park III to a whopping 2 hours and 27 minutes for Jurassic World: Dominion, binge-watching the franchise is a 14-hour-and-40-minute-long commitment. Or 14 hours and 54 minutes if you watch the 14-minute longer, 2-hour, 41-minute extended edition of Jurassic World: Dominion. But life, uh, finds a way. So if you’re like me and want to revisit all of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies in order, here’s where you can stream the series.

How many Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies are there?

All of the runtimes of the seven Jurassic Park and Jurassic World films tallied up

Based on my calculations, it’ll take 14 hours and 40 minutes to watch all seven of the Jurassic Park and World movies (not including popcorn and bathroom breaks). If you watch Jurassic World: Dominion’s extended edition rather than the theatrical cut, that balloons to 14 hours and 54 minutes.

The Jurassic Park franchise consists of seven mainline films — the original Jurassic Park trilogy alongside the Jurassic World quadrilogy. There are also two TV series, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous and Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. Here’s how to watch the entire Jurassic Park movie and TV show universe in chronological order by release date:

  • Jurassic Park (1993)
  • The Lost World: Jurassic Park (1997)
  • Jurassic Park III (2001)
  • Jurassic World (2015)
  • Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)
  • Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous (2020 TV series)
  • Jurassic World: Dominion (2022)
  • Jurassic World: Chaos Theory (2024 TV series)
  • Jurassic World: Rebirth (2025)

Do you need to watch the whole Jurassic Park franchise before Jurassic World: Rebirth?

I recommend watching the entire Jurassic Park series prior to Rebirth. There are many through lines and plot points connecting the movies, including the Jurassic World expansion expounding on the genetic experimentation themes from the original trilogy. Jurassic Park’s sequel, The Lost World, saw the return of Ian Malcolm (Jeff Goldblum) and John Hammond (Richard Attenborough). Dr. Alan Grant (Sam Neill) and Dr. Ellie Sattler (Laura Dern) return in Jurassic Park III.

Jurassic World revived the franchise in 2015 with the action back on Isla Nublar — where everything started in the original film — this time with Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard starring. Goldblum returns in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom alongside Pratt and Howard. Jurassic World: Dominion sits firmly in the middle of the Jurassic Park/Jurassic World Venn diagram, with franchise stars Pratt, Howard, Goldblum, Neill and Dern comprising the ensemble cast.

Although there’s continuity among the entire series to varying degrees, the Jurassic World movies really build on one another. You may be able to skip Jurassic Park III if a nearly 15-hour marathon is biting off more than you can chew — the film even takes place on a different island from the original, Isla Sorna. But Jurassic World, Fallen Kingdom, Dominion and Rebirth are fairly interconnected, with critical world-building elements. So, although I recommend watching everything, you should at the very least watch Jurassic Park and The Lost World alongside the Jurassic World flicks.

In addition to the mainline films, there are a couple of spin-off TV series: Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous and Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. Both shows are canon and although you don’t have to watch them to follow the film series, they’re additive, providing more of the franchise to explore for hard-core fans. Both Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory are available to stream on Netflix.

How to watch all of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World movies in order

The Jurassic Park trilogy — Jurassic Park, The Lost World and Jurassic Park III — is on AMC Plus. You can activate a free trial of AMC Plus through Amazon Prime Video to watch the Jurassic Park trilogy. I regularly sign up for free trials of different channels like AMC Plus and MovieSphere through Prime Video as a quick, easy way to watch movies and shows.

You can stream the Jurassic World series — Jurassic World, Fallen Kingdom, Dominion and Rebirth — on Peacock. Both spin-off animated television series, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous and Jurassic World: Chaos Theory, are available on Netflix.

If you don’t have Netflix, Amazon Prime Video or Peacock and would prefer not to sign up for yet another streaming service, you can rent or buy the various Jurassic Park and World films from Amazon Prime Video, Fandango at Home and other digital video retailers.

You can watch the Jurassic Park trilogy on AMC Plus. An AMC Plus membership costs you $7 a month with ads, $10 a month for Premium or $96 a year for Premium (the Premium tier is ad-free). Alternatively, you can subscribe to AMC Plus through Amazon Prime Video and even sign up for a free trial via Prime Video. AMC Plus includes content from AMC, Shudder, Sundance and BBC America. Aside from the Jurassic Park trilogy, you can stream loads of excellent movies and television shows, including Anne Rice’s Interview With The Vampire, The Walking Dead and Orphan Black.

Peacock hosts all four of the Jurassic World movies. Peacock Select costs $8 per month or $80 annually, giving you access to TV with ads, but you won’t get sports, movies or Peacock originals, so you’ll need to step up to Premium to stream the Jurassic World flicks. Peacock Premium — which lets you watch movies, TV shows, sports and more with ads — is $11 per month or $110 per year. The top-shelf Premium Plus package removes ads (with some exceptions) and lets you download videos for offline viewing, setting you back $17 a month or $170 a year.

In addition to the Jurassic World flicks, you can stream Bugonia, The Copenhagen Test, the Winter Olympics and a slew of other movies and shows.

Instacart Plus subscribers get Peacock Premium bundled with their subscription at no extra cost. If you regularly get groceries and other goods delivered, an Instacart Plus plan, which goes for $10 a month or $100 per year, could be a cost-effective way to get popcorn delivered straight to your door so you can stay on the couch streaming Jurassic World.

Likewise, you can sign up for Walmart Plus, which costs $13 a month or $98 a year, and lets you select either Paramount Plus Essential or Peacock Premium as an included perk. So if you’re a regular Walmart shopper, Walmart Plus could be a great value way to watch the Jurassic World movies on Peacock.

Netflix lets you stream both spin-off TV shows, Jurassic World: Camp Cretaceous and Jurassic World: Chaos Theory. Additionally, Netflix’s library offers access to other excellent movies and shows, including Bridgerton, His & Hers and The Rip.

A Netflix subscription runs you $8 per month for the standard ad-supported plan, which lets you watch in 1080p on up to two devices at a time. Standard costs $18 a month, removing ads but keeping the 1080p video quality and the limit of two simultaneous devices. Stepping up to Premium sets you back $25 a month, but you’ll get 4K video quality and an allowance of four simultaneous devices. The Standard plan lets you add an extra member for an additional $7 a month on the ad-supported plan or $9 monthly without ads. Premium allows you to add two additional members for either $7 a person per month on the ad-supported tier, or $9 a month per person sans ads.
