Google has officially and finally revealed the launch date for its upcoming flagship and premium smartphone, dubbed the Pixel 10 series. This was one of the anticipated announcements from Google this year. The Google Pixel 10 series is expected to pack several AI features and powerful hardware. The event will not just reveal the smartphone, but also several important updates across Google’s broader ecosystem.

What’s Expected: Four Pixel Phones, One Foldable

Leaks and rumors suggest that the Pixel 10 series will include four models:

  • Pixel 10
  • Pixel 10 Pro
  • Pixel 10 Pro XL
  • Pixel 10 Pro Fold

This marks the continuation of Google’s strategy to expand the Pixel family while also challenging premium Android competitors with larger and foldable devices.

Google Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL:

The Pixel 10 Pro and Pixel 10 Pro XL from Google will be the high-end smartphones with powerful specifications and polished design. While, the company has not yet evealed or confirmed anything officially, a series of leaks and rumors suggest that the Pixel 10 Pro XL is expected to feature a 6.3-inch LTPO OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, and the Pro XL will step up to a 6.8-inch display.

Powered by the Tensor G5 Chipset

Under the hood, both the smartphones will be powered by the most exciting upgrade and that is Google’s new Tensor G5 chip, built on TSMC’s 3nm process. This will be one of the most important upgrade as Google used Samsung’s  chips in its Pixel 9. This upgraded chipset in upcoming Pixel 10 series could mean improved power efficiency and better heat management.
