Hitchi VantaraHitachi subsidiary, has a New General Director for Spain and Portugal since the beginning of 2025. It’s about Adrian Cagnonia manager who has more than a quarter of a century of experience in the technological sector, and who has developed his career in international environments. With this appointment, the Iberian subsidiary of Hitachi Vantara is consolidated as a center of technological excellence with sufficient capacity to generate value at the local and global level. In addition, it will have a more agile operational structure close to the market.
Before entering Hitachi Vantara he held different positions of responsibility in Pure Storage for more than five years, both in the United States and in Spain. In our country, in particular, he was director of global strategic accounts for the Financial Services and Biotechnology sectors of EMEA.
Cagnoni began his career as an engineer and solution architect. In 2017 he went to the commercial area, but using an advisory approach and focused on results and in the construction of long -term alliances. In 2019 he studied postgraduate studies related to the company, getting an Executive MBA that provided more tools to connect technology with the business strategy.
In his new position, his mission will be to take advantage of the local talent and the strategic relevance of the region to offer technological solutions that meet the needs of customers, regardless of their level of complexity. Among its priorities is the creation of a vertical financial services, as well as the impulse to innovation in data management, hybrid cloud, cybercraft and generative.
