A HOME Depot shopper revealed how customers can get their hands on a $300 vacuum for just a penny.
Buyers must know how to read a specific yellow tag to make sure they get this bargain.
A TikToker (@Easy_Profitz) revealed the shock retail hack in a video.
The shopper picked up a $300 Hoover ONEPWR vacuum cleaner, which is a cordless cleaning device.
This TikToker shared the exact steps they took to find the deal.
“First thing you’ll want to do is look for this exact Hoover vacuum,” he said.
The Home Depot shopper then told viewers to look for a key detail on the yellow price tag.
He shared that two digits could reveal if the item could scan for just one cent.
“And if it ends in 03 then it’s probably a penny deal,” he added.
The shopper then told customers to take the item to self-checkout and scan it to see if it was on offer.
He even revealed a trick shoppers can do if they don’t find that penny deal at their local Home Depot.
“If it’s not a penny yet come back in a week,” he said.
“Once it shows that 03 price it’s about to be a penny.”
DOLLAR DEALS
Home Depot has not been the only chain offering its customers bargains in time for the New Year.
Dollar Tree shoppers have rushed to bag a party essential for just $1.25.
The chain is selling foil balloons at an incredible price.
They’re available in festive gold and silver, so will match a wide variety of color themes.
“Plus, sturdy foil material holds helium longer than latex balloons and is not easily popped,” the retailer’s website said.
The discount chain will even inflate the balloons when purchased and if bought online.
Customers simply need to take them to their local store for filling.
