Honor on Wednesday launched its Magic 8 series flagship smartphones in Beijing. The lineup debuts the self-evolving MagicOS 10 system powered by the YOYO AI assistant, which learns user habits to deliver proactive services in scenarios such as shopping and travel. All models are equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, while the Pro version features a 200MP ultra night periscope telephoto camera with CIPA 5.5-level stabilization. The series also introduces the industry’s first millivolt-level AI steady battery and an Oasis eye-protection display designed to enhance both endurance and visual comfort. The Magic 8 series starts at RMB 4,499 ($620) and will go on sale on October 23. [Honor Weibo, in Chinese]
