The steps above are for changing a New Page name. For a Classic Page, you’ll need to simply open your Facebook Page, scroll down to Edit Page Info in the left panel, enter your new name and hit Request Change.
To change your business page on Facebook you’ll need to either go to Settings via Meta Business Suite or Business settings via Business Manager.
Next to your Business Manager name, ID and primary Page name, click Edit and update the information accordingly. Business portfolio info, then click Edit (which is next to your current primary Page name).
To change your Facebook page link, you’ll need to change your Page’s username, which is different from changing its name. To do this, follow steps one to eight above. Then, click Edit next to Username. Once you’ve chosen a new username, simply click Save Changes. Unlike changing a Page name, you won’t need to wait for Facebook’s approval.
The reason you can’t change the name on your Facebook page may be because you only have “task access” and not “Facebook access” to the page. This is likely because the owner of the Page has limited your access level, or perhaps you transferred your ownership to someone else.
In order to gain full Facebook access, you’ll need to speak to the Page’s owner who can grant you the correct permissions.
