A few hours after rival Nvidia takes the stage at CES 2026, AMD will have its turn to show off what it has coming for 2026.
CEO Lisa Su’s presentation is scheduled for Monday, Jan. 5, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. PT / 9:30 p.m. ET. The company is marketing Su’s keynote as “the most powerful technology event in the world,” which is, of course, a bit much. But if you’re not going to hype yourself up, who will?
AMD says Su, as well as the company’s partners and customers, will highlight AMD’s vision for “delivering future AI solutions, from cloud to enterprise, edge and devices.” That seems to be what everyone’s doing here in Las Vegas this week, so we’ll have to see if AMD has something unique planned for CES.
Su will also speak at Lenovo’s Tech World on Tuesday at 5 p.m. PT, which you can stream live.
As we noted in our CES 2026 preview story, AMD, Intel, and Nvidia announced cutting-edge GPUs and processors at last year’s CES. A repeat for 2026 would be nice, but we don’t see much new core desktop silicon on the immediate horizon. So, we could see some new processors that are more or less the same as those currently on the market, but with subtle increases to clock speed to boost performance.
