The Fall Classic is going the distance. For the first time this decade, we are getting a Game 7 of the World Series.
The last Game 7 occurred in 2019, with Max Scherzer pitching five innings to help the Washington Nationals win their first title against the Houston Astros. In a case of baseball serendipity, the 41-year-old Scherzer will start tonight for the Blue Jays, who are seeking their first World Series championship since 1993. Meanwhile, looking to repeat last year’s title, the Dodgers will send two-way superstar Shohei Ohtani to the mound to start the game on short rest.
Game 7 starts tonight at 8 p.m. ET (5 p.m. PT) on Fox and Fox One. Here’s everything you need to know about how to watch or stream the game tonight.
Shohei Ohtani will start on the mound for the Los Angeles Dodgers tonight for Game 7 of the 2025 World Series against the Toronto Blue Jays.
