It’s a rare occasion that we get to enjoy anything for free these days but that’s exactly what one popular provider is offering.
Virgin Media has confirmed the launch of its Black Friday sale event, with customers given the chance to enjoy completely free broadband for the next three months.
This headline deal from the UK Internet Service Provider (ISP) will give anyone who sign up internet access until next year without paying a penny.

The freebie is available across a number of plans, including Virgin’s M250, and M500 as well as its fastest Gig1 platform, which offers downloads in excess of 1,130Mbps.

And even after the free service ends, the prices will still be very reasonable.
Virgin’s M500 will then start from just £27.99 per month, with standard Netflix Standards with ads.
Meanwhile, the Gig1 will set new users back just £29.99, some of the lowest costs available.
The deals include broadband on its own to offers bundled with TV and Netflix.
Even Sky Sports and Sky Cinema are up for grabs in Virgin Media’s 2025 sale.
Customers can tune into box sets and movies without paying anything extra as part of these offers.
Virgin also revealed that those who switch will be able to claim up to £200 bill credit.
This can then be used to cut down on the monthly outgoings.
After three months
Of course, prices will go up during the 24-month contract, so make sure to check the small print before buying.
As a quick guide, the M250 deal is free to start.
It then costs £24.99 until April 2025 before rising to £28.99 from April 2026.
