HP Has Early Presidents’ Day Deals on Top-Ranked Hardware

A three-day weekend means a lot of things, but for us here in the deal mines, it’s time for major brands to drop big discounts. HP is coming in hot for Presidents’ Day this year, with significant discounts on solid-performing hardware. We’re spotlighting early deals before Friday, and will continue to add new products as they come up. To start, here’s a trifecta of PCs plus a capable light-duty printer on sale.

HP Laptop Deals

Two-in-one laptops give you the best of both worlds, whether you prefer a touch-screen or a standard keyboard. HP’s midrange OmniBook X Flip is a solid entry into the category, with a premium all-metal build that delivers the durability you need for extensive use. In our review, we noted that the unit’s 120Hz OLED touch screen was a cut above other convertibles in this price range. The keyboard and touchpad are both solid and responsive, and the included magnetic stylus feels great to use. It benchmarked well in our testing, although we wish the battery life was a little better.

For gaming, this is an absolute monster of a portable, with a serious silicon loadout starting with an Intel Core Ultra 9 processor that runs fast and clean, along with a Blackwell-series RTX 5080 graphics card that pumps out the frames like crazy. We reviewed this build and raved about it, with writer Charles Jefferies saying it “surprises with its all-around utility,” noting that it works just as well for content creation and productivity as it does for current-generation games. We docked it a few points for battery life, so keep a cord handy for epic sessions. An $800 price drop slaps.

HP Desktop Deals

We gave an Editors’ Choice award to this all-in-one desktop when we reviewed it, with writer Eric Grevstad declaring it “an elegant alternative to a tower PC,” thanks to its huge, gorgeous 4K display, nice component loadout and lots of helpful quality-of-life features, including a rare height-adjustable stand, good port assortment, and competitive performance with Apple’s much more expensive iMac line. The IMAX-certified screen is one of the best we’ve seen on a Windows all-in-one in this price range. While there are a few downsides, including the lack of a Thunderbolt port, this is a superlative deal.

HP Printer Deals

For just over two hundred bucks, this is a tremendous deal on a capable home office printer with low running costs, good speed, and decent quality. The OfficeJet Pro 9125e is a versatile color inkjet printer that works with multiple input types, including wireless printing from your phone. There’s also HP Wolf Pro Security to keep it safe from intruders. We have a 2021 review of the 9025e, the preceding model, and gave it an “Excellent” rating for competitive pricing and all-around reliability, with HP’s Instant Ink program making it even more affordable to maintain.
