Huawei has unveiled its foldable laptop dubbed Huawei MateBook Fold, with power-packed features. The company launched the Huawei MateBook Fold with an 18-inch Double-Layer Flexible OLED display and a six-speaker system. The laptop is launched in China alongside the Huawei Nova 14 series of smartphones. The Huawei MateBook Fold Ultimate Design is one of its kind and offers several exciting features.

Huawei MateBook Fold Ultimate Design is the first laptop to run by the Harmony OS 5 with 32GB of RAM alongside up to 2TB of SSD storage. It sports an 18-inch 3K double-layer flexible LTPO OLED display along with 3,296×2,472 pixels resolution and 4:3 aspect ratio. The display is also equipped with the up to 1,600 nits peak brightness.
The display panel also supports HDR10+, has a TÜV Rheinland Eye Comfort 3.0 certification, and a 1,440Hz PWM dimming rate. Once folded, the laptop has a 13-inch display with a 2,472×1,648 pixels resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio.
As far as camera features are concerned, the laptop comes with 8MP front camera. To power the laptop, the company has given a 74.69Wh battery with 140W wired fast charging. In addition, there’s a USB Type-C port included in the laptop.

The Huawei MateBook Fold Ultimate Design weighs 1.16 kg and measures 7.3mm when it is unfolded. However, when you fold it, it measures 14.9mm. There’s no official information regarding the processor of the laptop, but as per report, it is more likely to be a Kirin chipset.
Connectivity options include Bluetooth 5.2, dual-band Wi-Fi, two USB-C ports, and a fingerprint scanner that you can find under the power button. Additionally, the Huawei MateBook Fold Ultimate Design is equipped with the virtual keyboard and the company plans to bring the physical keyboard too. You will also get a touchpad and 1.5mm key travel.
There is also an introduction of the 140W power brick, a braided cable, a screen cleaning cloth, a large storage back for the computer, and a smaller bag for accessories.

Huawei MateBook Fold Ultimate Design is priced at CNY 23,999 for the 32GB + 1TB in China. The 32GB + 2TB variant is available at CNY 26,999. You can purchase the laptop via Huawei’s official website and is available for pre0orders via company’s China e-store. The laptop will be up for sale from 6 June 2025. The laptop is available in three color options including Cloud Water Blue, Forging Shadow Black, and Skyline White.
