Viewers grow impatient
More users took online to express their frustration with the iPlayer outage.
However, BBC responded that the problem is being investigated.
BBC’s response
BBC iPlayer status page has released a statement that the current issue is being investigated.
The statement read: “We’re aware of an issue with iPlayer across all platforms where many features, including Continue Watching and Search are unavailable.
“We’re working to fix this fault as soon as possible and will update this page when we have further updates.”
Eastenders fans missing out on a new episode
Eastenders fans have missed out on the newest episode as BBC iPlayer went down.
However, those who were able to watch the latest episode before the outage have spotted a huge editing blunder.

Error 34074 meaning
According to BBC website, error code 34074 usually means that there is an issue with your internet connection.
Another possibility is that there is a problem with the iPlayer app itself.
BBC advises users to try updating the iPlayer app, check internet connection, or turning down other internet-connected devices to fix it.
Error code
Some viewers have reported receiving the same error code on the screen when trying to watch any programme.
One user wrote: “Is the iPlayer down. I can get in so far then each programme I click on say error code 34074 it does say the iPlayer will look a little different today but no programmes??”
Another one added: “What’s happened with iPlayer in the last few minutes? It suddenly stopped playing on the tv with error code 34074.
“But can still access it on my phone. It’s not the tv, checked internet connection, checked app is up to date and have rebooted tv. Any help please???”
