And the former center insisted he would reject a ring for Super Bowl LIX last weekend.
The Eagles exacted revenge on the Kansas City Chiefs for their Super Bowl LVII loss in Glendale, Arizona two years ago.
Kelce was part of the Eagles team that lost that game in 2023 with his younger brother Travis on the other side.
Jalen Hurts led Philadelphia to a 40-22 victory over Kansas City in New Orleans, Louisiana on Sunday night.
Speaking before the game on his New Heights podcast, Jason claimed he would reject a ring if offered.
“I would not accept a Super Bowl ring that I did not earn on the field,” he said.
“I did not play, I did not compete, so I do not think I deserve it.”
He won one Super Bowl during his career.
Kelce was part of the Philadelphia team that beat the New England Patriots in February 2018.
But he lost that ring from Super Bowl LII in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Last year he competed in an event called the Lombady Games with his brother Travis.
One challenge had contestants dig through pots of chili looking for replica Super Bowl rings.
But one of the replicas was actually Jason’s championship ring.
“I legitimately lost my Super Bowl ring in this event, they could not find it,” he revealed.
“We have still yet to find it.
“All of this stuff has been thrown away, so I think we can safely assume that my Super Bowl ring is now in a landfill someplace in the Cincinnati tri-state area.
“I didn’t think that would happen.”
His brother Travis had no sympathy for Jason’s actions.
The Chiefs star said, “So ridiculous. Kids, if you’re watching at home, don’t do what Jason is doing.”
Jason had mixed emotions at Sunday’s result at the Superdome in New Orleans.
He was happy for his beloved Eagles but admitted sadness for his brother’s painful defeat.
