If you’re a student or an office worker, you know the struggle of constantly needing text tools. I mean tools like comparing two documents, batch adding line numbers, or removing all empty lines in one go. Most of the time, you’re forced to choose between apps stuffed with ads and trackers, or clunky websites that only do one thing well—meaning you end up juggling multiple sites just to finish a single task.

That changed for me when I found Txtfy. I stumbled across it on the Play Store, and it completely caught me off guard. This little app has 76 different text tools. It’s totally free, with zero subscriptions and no ads.

Get the text formatting done here

As the name suggests, this section features the basic text manipulation tools. It helps me to convert text cases in a jiffy. There’s also a Find and Replace feature that allows me to replace text within notes and articles, enabling me to find, remove, and replace any specific word, term, or character within seconds on my phone. But that’s not it; there are many more tools, such as the Sort Lines tool, which helps you sort lines in alphabetical or numerical order. And many other text manipulation tools.

You could technically handle most of these yourself. For example, you could convert text case with Excel using a formula, but that would require a lengthy formula. Txtfy let’s you do it all with a single click.

Make a list, edit it, format it, with just a few taps

List tools help me complete batch processing. Whatever I want to add—a prefix or a suffix, add numbers, indent, change order, break lines, or merge multiple lists into one. List tools cover it all. Everything we need for list-based text editing is available in the list tools section.

Get rid of unwanted fluff from your articles

Have you written something that needs to be removed? I do this often. Every time I am done drafting something, I realize that there is something that is not supposed to be there. If that is the case with you, then the Remove tool is in the right section. From numbers to white spaces mistakenly inserted in articles, here you can remove anything within any text at your will. There are nine different removal tools available for service.

With Convert Tools within the Txtfy app, I can convert any text into various formats. Whether I want to convert units, text to Morse code, text to binary code, or convert colors to a text value, the Convert Tools has it all with its list of seven conversion tools. The Convert Tools section is not only helpful but also enjoyable, making it a great pastime. One thing it lacks is that it can not convert my handwriting to text.

Speech to paragraphs, analyze anything that has text

When I need to know how much time it will take to read or speak from the text, I resort to the Analyze Tools. There is an option within the Analyze tool that provides almost perfect analysis of how much time it will take for me to recite and deliver a speech. But that’s not everything. There’s even a text counter, a vowel and consonant counter, and a file-size counter within the Analyze tools.

Make your texts more attractive

In this section, I can make my texts fun and stylish. If you want your text to stand out or highlight a specific point within a paragraph, this is the ideal place for that. The Stylish Tools section includes nine different fun tools to enhance your texts. You can draw pictures with the ASCII Editor, make your text larger, add emoji flair, stylize your fonts, add frames, and much more. If you enjoy adding flair to your writing, Stylish Texts is the perfect place for you.

Generate whatever you want with text

No matter what I’m looking to generate—a QR code from texts or links, filler Lorem Ipsum, a random or set number, a password, or a male or female name. Generator Tool has me covered. It features nine distinct sets of tools that encompass every aspect of text generation.

Txtfy has a total of five different extractor tools, including email extractors and phone number extractors. When I need to retrieve an email address or a phone number from lengthy menus or introductory books, these tools do the job efficiently. They quickly eliminate the hassle of searching through pages for contact details. Additionally, there are other valuable tools, such as URL extractors and number extractors, that can be beneficial in similar situations.

Get your text game rolling with the Txtfy app

The Txtfy app offers a range of tools, including randomizers, image tools, web tools, and formatting tools, which can be extremely useful. Since all of these tools are free and the app offers an ad-free experience, we really can’t ask for more. The Txtfy app is a comprehensive package for text manipulation.
