A LEGENDARY ice cream shop with 1,000 locations is set to open 10 more in a major US city.
Chiefs are planning to open six of those stores within the next few years, as the company seeks out expansion in a thriving metropolitan area.

Cold Stone Creamery has set its sights on the Greater Philadelphia area in Pennsylvania.
The chain believes that the city is a prime location for business expansion.
Each new location will stimulate its local economy with new job opportunities.
Cold Stone Creamery is aiming to open six locations in the area in the next two years, with and 10 over the next five years.
The company already has five location open in in the Greater Philadelphia area, with 18 statewide.

FLEXIBLE BUSINESS
Cold Stone Creamery operates with a flexible business model, something given to franchise owners, too.
The company will be looking for new employees, as well as potential franchise owners.
Eligible candidates for franchise ownership at these new locations ranges from experienced to inexperienced.
The initial franchise fee to start a new traditional Cold Stone Creamery franchise is $27,000.
