Welcome to Indie App Spotlight. This is a weekly 9to5Mac series where we showcase the latest apps in the indie app world. If you’re a developer and would like your app featured, get in contact.
Budgeting apps are certainly plentiful on the App Store, but if you want one that’s simple, good looking, and easy to use – Dimewise might be a good choice for you.
Top features
Dimewise offers a beautiful and minimal design language with Liquid Glass, making it feel right at home on iPhone and iPad models running iOS 26.
Beyond that, though, it offers a great dashboard that gives you an all-encompassing view of your finances You can get a quick overview of your income and expenses, see upcoming transactions, see how much you’ve spent, and more.
While the app does rely on manual entry, it’s incredibly easy to add new data to the app. Just type in the dollar amount, pick a category, write a little note, and that’s it.
There’s also deeper budget insights you can view, such as seeing what categories you spend the most in, as well as overall budget analysis.
Plus, you can have different “wallets” in the app for different purposes. For example, if you’d like to budget your personal expenses separately from business ones, or whatever you see fit.
Download the app
Dimewise is available for free on the App Store for iPhone and iPad models running iOS 26 and later. The app is completely free, with no additional ads or in app purchases.
If you’re someone who wants a simple way to track your expenses and become a better budgeter going into 2026, consider giving Dimewise a go.
