Instagram is rolling out new and improved Insights with Instagram Reels and Live analytics.
In a press release, Instagram stated that this major upgrade would ensure “creators and businesses can understand how their content is performing.”

Instagram Insights: New and Improved Reels and Live Analytics
As part of the update, Instagram will now display detailed analytics for Reels and Live:
Instagram Reels Analytics
For Reels, users will be able to see new metrics including Plays, Accounts Reached, Likes, Comments, Saves, and Shares.

They will be available in both the Instagram Insights tab and for individual Reels.
Instagram Live Analytics
For Live, users will now be able see the number of Accounts Reached, Peak Concurrent Viewers, Comments, and Shares.

In addition to this valuable extra data, Instagram has updated the Instagram Insights experience.
The new format includes new data breakdowns that provide transparency into which types of accounts you’re reaching, and which content formats are the most effective at driving Reach:

How to Access Instagram Reels and Live Insights
Instagram Insights are only available to Business and Creator accounts.
To access Instagram Insights, tap the “Insights” button on your account profile page. From here, you will be able to access up to 30 days of analytics for Instagram Feed Posts, Stories, Reels, IGTV Videos, and Live Video:

To see how a specific Instagram Reel is performing, visit the Reels tab on your profile page and open a Reel.
From here, tap the three dot icon in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen, and select “Insights.”
If enough time has passed, you should be able to see a detailed overview of your Instagram Reel’s performance
