Building off this morning’s release of the Intel Graphics Compiler 2.12.5 is now the updated Intel Compute Runtime 25.22.33944.8 as their June 2025 feature release.
Intel Compute Runtime 25.22.33944.8 brings all of the improvements that have been baking over the month of May and early June. There is a lot in store and comes one month after the prior Compute Runtime release that was exciting for Ultra Low Latency Scheduling for Lunar Lake integrated graphics.
With today’s Intel Compute Runtime update there is continued preparations for Xe3 integrated graphics coming with Panther Lake (PTL), optionally making use of the Xe kernel driver’s low-latency hint with the new “ForceLowLatencyHint” debug option, adding support for the kernel driver’s EU stall sampling uAPI added in Linux 6.15, updating the README to reflect Tiger Lake and back through Broadwell being considered legacy platforms, and native GPU fence synchronization object implementation.
Also in the name of performance is disabling coherency for buffers on Panther Lake, built-in copy kernels for 1D buffer images, support for different copy offload submission modes, and other changes that have built up over the past weeks.
