Intel Compute Runtime 25.40.35563.4 is out today as the newest update to their open-source GPU compute stack for Level Zero and OpenCL on Intel integrated/discrete graphics hardware.
Intel Compute Runtime 25.40.35563.4 brings more performance optimizations in general and continues making preparations for upcoming Intel Panther Lake Xe3 integrated graphics.
Some of the highlights for today’s monthly Compute Runtime update include:
– In the name of better performance is enabling staging copies in Level Zero.
– Enabling the low-latency hint support for the Xe kernel driver.
– Enabling the Ultra Low Latency Scheduling (ULLS) for the copy engine with Panther Lake.
– Disabling TLB invalidation on Panther Lake with the Xe kernel driver.
– Updates for the Intel Wilcat Lake A1 silicon revision.
– Enabling Unified Shared Memory (USM) reuse on Level Zero with Xe2 hardware.
– Enabling USM pooling with Level Zero on Battlemage GPUs.
– A new “NEO_ULTS_ENABLE_OPTIMIZATIONS” CMake option to enable compiler optimizations in ULTs builds.
