Intel has announced several initiatives focused on Promote the adoption of AI in Edge In sectors such as retail, manufacturing, smart cities, media or leisure. These are initiatives that simplify their integration with the existing infrastructure: Intel AI Edge Systems, Edge AI Suites y Open Edge Platform.
The three are based on the technology dedicated to the Edge of Intel, and have an open Edge approach, which allows the AI solution output to be accelerated for the end. While many deployments in the current Edge incorporate AI through Machine Learning traditional and computer vision, these three Intel initiatives are designed to accelerate the display of advanced AI applications.
With them, and through an ecosystem of trusted partners, Intel allows companies to address the challenges of their sector, as well as innovate in the AI deployments in the EDGE. Intel ai Edge Systems is responsible for accelerating the deployment of AI in the Edge. Original equipment manufacturers (OEMS) and original designs (MDGs) manufacturers have access to standardized projects, test banks and verification tools optimized for cases of use of AI in the EDGE.
These resources allow both clients and solution suppliers to configure systems with ease to meet the performance needs of certain use cases, such as vision with AI, or generative AI. They are solutions that offer various levels of power, sizes and performance options, designed to achieve optimal hardware and software integration.
The EDGE AI Suites initiative provides software development kits (SDKS) specific for different sectors to different independent software suppliers (ISVS), systems integrators and solution developers. These suites simplify the creation of custom -to -measure solutions for different sectors of the industry.
To do this, it offers selected reference applications, example code and test benches to accelerate the development of applications. At present, Intel offers four of these suites, optimized for retail, manufacturing, smart cities and leisure and the media.
As for the last initiative, Opened Platform offers a modular platform and Open Source that simplifies the development, deployment and management of AI application and for the EDGE on scale. It is characterized by having such a simple management as that of a Cloud platform, and allows independent software suppliers, solution developers and operating systems suppliers integrate software components efficiently, in addition to taking advantage of performance optimizations of the latest Intel software advances.
