iOS 26.0.1 coming soon for iPhone users [Updated] – 9to5Mac

Update September 27, 2025: We’re still waiting on Apple to release iOS 26.0.1 to everyone, but it seems very close. An anonymous account on X indicates the update will feature the build number 23A355.

There have also been recent reports of Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and CarPlay problems for iPhone 17 users. Hopefully, iOS 26.0.1 will fix those problems.

Apple released iOS 26 to the general public this week with its new Liquid Glass design and a ton of other new features and changes. Now, the company is working on its first bug fix for this year’s software: iOS 26.0.1.

The information comes from an anonymous private account on X that regularly shares accurate information about upcoming Apple software updates. The account says iOS 26.0.1 will feature the build number 23A35_.

There’s no word on what will be new with this update, but it will almost certainly fix some of the early bugs in iOS 26. Generally, updates are released within several days of this account posting about them on social media.

Apple has also confirmed it is working on a software update for the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 Pro to fix a “very rare” camera bug spotted by early reviews.

With the iPhone Air and iPhone 17 set to be released to everyone tomorrow, I’d expect iOS 26.0.1 to be released sooner rather than later. Apple is also likely to start beta testing iOS 26.1 as soon as next week.
