The iPhone 17 series will launch in 2025 and we already have a lot of rumors around it on the internet. While some of the rumors are believable to an extent, a few of them are way too buzz-creating and kind of unbelievable. In a recent leak, the rearview camera design of the iPhone series has been revealed. A tipster on Weibo shared a metal phone frame that is said to be identical to the iPhone 17 frame.
iPhone 17 Pro new design leaks
It is being said that the component is from the supply chain and the wider rectangular camera bump will be shaped to fit the ultrawide angle sensor in the middle. In the comments of the post, it has also been mentioned that the camera arrangement enables ‘space video’. Now, the report published by Android Authority suggested that the space mentioned could just be a translation loss. According to them, the same could be about spatial video capability.
The previous iPhone variants already have that feature so we can get to see the same in iPhone 17 Pro as well. And the leak was further verified by Digital Chat Station on Weibo as he mentioned that the change in design is possibly coming for the iPhone 17 series. He also posted a fan render of the iPhone 17 Pro based on the frame.
By the looks of it, the series looks pretty similar to Google’s Pixel series. The sensors are placed horizontally and on a protruded oval pill-shaped camera island. And keeping in mind that the Android smartphone producers blatantly take inspiration from Apple’s design, we can get to see a lot of Pixel-looking Android phones in the market if the design is adopted by Apple. Until now, nothing has been confirmed through the official sources. So, all the readers are suggested to take this information with a grain of salt.
