JALEN Hurts gave a simple reason why he doesn’t rock his Super Bowl ring.
The Philadelphia Eagles’ star quarterback earned the Super Bowl 59 MVP award thanks to his efforts during the team’s 40-22 big game win over the Kansas City Chiefs in February.

Hurts helped the Eagles knock off the back-to-back champion Chiefs as he completed 17 of 22 passes for 221 yards and two touchdowns.
The two-time Pro Bowler also rushed for 72 yards and a touchdown.
But last week, Hurts was the only member of the Eagles’ Super Bowl-winning team to not wear his championship ring during a lavish event in Philadelphia.
Hurts revealed that he’s focused on the future and doesn’t think about the past.
“I’ve moved on to the new year,” Hurts said about not wearing the ring.
“It’s as simple as that.”
Hurts doesn’t wear a championship ring that is worth $50,000.
The ring features 12 carats in total diamonds and a combined diamond weight of 140 grams, per the Eagles.
Hurts has been 45-17 over his last four seasons as the Eagles’ starter.
During that span, he has rushed for 52 touchdowns.
However, there have been fans who have tried to downplay Hurts’ impact on the team.
Fans have claimed that the Eagles’ success is thanks to the team’s offensive line and playmakers.
Hurts is surrounded by a star cast that includes 2024 Offensive Player of the Year Saquon Barkley, wide receivers A.J. Brown and DeVonta Smith, as well as a top offensive line.
Recently, head coach Nick Sirianni blasted the claims, calling the opinions “bulls***.”

“Yeah that’s bull****. Anytime, I hear that, it’s cool, it’s like a nice debate thing that people like to have,” Sirianno said, via ESPN.
“And I get it, there’s a lot of hours that TV shows and radio shows have to fill to be able to fill that debate.
“I understand that, but we’re talking about the ultimate team game there is, and he does whatever he needs to do to win each and every game.”
Hurts and the Eagles will look to repeat as champions this fall.
They’ll face the Dallas Cowboys in the league’s first game of the season on Thursday, September 4.
