JD Technology has partnered with Chinese AR glasses maker Rokid to launch JoyGlance, the world’s first “see-and-buy” shopping app for smart glasses. The app lets users identify items by looking at them and complete purchases through voice commands with biometric verification.
Set to debut on Rokid smart glasses in November, JoyGlance aims to expand shopping options beyond smartphones. JD Technology — the fintech and technology arm of e-commerce giant JD.com — said the system combines intent recognition, product search, and voiceprint-based payment to create a secure and seamless hands-free shopping experience.
