KitchenAid has just launched the ultimate Limited Edition stand mixer, and Taylor Swift fans are going crazy.

The company, known for its premium baking appliances that take pride of place on many countertops, has launched a new exciting colorway, but there’s a hitch: there are only 12 up for grabs.

‘Tangerine Twinkle’ now takes its place among 24 other iconic shades, including the similar ‘Scorched Orange’. However, there’s something about the latest release that makes it extra special and collectible.

Not only is this stand mixer brighter, with its enticing, glamorous shimmer that the brand describes as “uplifting bright orange with a dazzling sparkle finish” —this extremely limited edition is only available through sweepstakes.

KitchenAid fans in the U.S. can visit the brand’s website for a chance to win one of 12 mixers.

But why only 12? The new color has been released to commemorate Taylor Swift’s 12th album, ‘The Life of a Showgirl’.

Color popping baking

KitchenAid first gave hints of the link to the pop icon in an Instagram post in August, with images of a sparkly orange stand mixer and the words, “Mix up something tasty with your favorite icon”. Then just last week it was fueling anticipation with another Instagram post picturing a video of descending orange sparkles. Taylor Swift Fans caught on fast to the post, with one follower saying, “Huge day for KitchenAid Swifties.”

We expect they’ll be a stack of devoted Swifties entering the sweepstakes, but you’ll have to be quick as the sweepstake is only open until October 3.

Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips.

Virtual cooking classes
Apart from celebrating the release of Swift’s 12th album, Kitchen Aid is also celebrating in other ways. The brand’s chef, Kat Alvarez, is hosting live, virtual cooking classes for its Instagram followers until October 3, featuring Swift’s favorite recipes for Chai cookies, pastry pockets and sourdough.

Stand mixer sale — deal of the week
The brand is also offering $150 off the Artisan Series 5 Quart Tilt-Head stand mixer, with Premium Accessory pack, until October 6.

However, if you’re not one of the lucky sweepstakes winners and miss the stand mixer deal above, we reckon there’ll be some worthy KitchenAid deals to be swept up during Amazon’s Prime Day event on October 7-8.
