Every week, Netflix drops a bunch of new content for viewers to stream from TV and movie studios all over the world. Watching all of it would take you way too much time, so I decided to start my Friday by recommending three top picks for the weekend and week to come. Schedule your viewing around these shows and movies, and I’ll be watching along with you. Now that we’re fully in September, there’s a host of good stuff to watch, including the climax of animated epic Wolf King, new movies, and more.

Love Con Revenge (Sept. 5)
Netflix’s documentary on scammer Simon Leviev, the Tinder Swindler, was an eye-opening hit, and now one of his victims is returning to help other people find justice. In Love Con Revenge, Cecilie Fjellhøy teams with a private investigator to work with people who have been targeted by romance scams. All around the world, these frauds have siphoned millions of dollars from their marks, and they deserve revenge.
Kontrabida Academy (Sept. 11)
Quirky-looking Filipino comedy Kontrabida Academy takes the isekai concept in a new and oddball direction. Eugene Domingo stars as Mauricia, a disrespected restaurant worker who, while watching soap operas one night, gets sucked through her TV screen into a training academy for villains. Once there, she learns from the best—er, worst—to build confidence and get back at her enemies in the real world.
Wolf King: Season 2 (Sept. 11)
This is the final season of this engaging fantasy adventure. As you’d expect from the title, Wolf King revolves around the struggles of a werewolf royal, Drew Ferran. When he turns 16, Drew learns that not only is he a werewolf, but he’s also the last heir of Wergar, lord of the lycanthropes. It’s a surprisingly complex and rich story about the weight of power and how all your decisions have repercussions.
