The 97th Academy Awards took place last night in Hollywood, with famous faces turning out in their droves for the glitzy event – which as always, was full of drama and memorable moments galore.

One of the very memorable moments came when fans were quick to notice an awkward moment.
This came as Kylie and Timothée ran into his ex Lily-Rose Depp.
Slamming show producers for the “messy” shot, fans were quick to react after spotting something rather blatantly obvious.
Lily-Rose was on stage presenting award while right in front of her was her ex and his new girlfriend who were in the front row.

And to make things more awkward, the producers framed the shot so his picture from A Complete Unknown showed up right behind where Lily was standing.
Fans noticed as soon as it happened and thought the producers did it on purpose, calling them out for being “messy”.
Sharing a screen grab of the moment, one fan on X said: “The Academy is so messy for this.”
“They knew what they were doing. did they pan them?? lol can’t remember,” said one person in reaction to the post.
A second penned: “They’ve planned this, crazy as af.”

Bumping into her man’s ex, the two women were in attendance at the Chanel fashion show during PFW, with both starlets rocking garments from the brand.
