CHRISTMAS is nearly here but if your shopping is far from done don’t fret: there are still loads of gadget goodies up for grabs.

I’m The Sun’s tech editor and I’ve tested all 10 of the products on this list personally – they’ll suit smartphone obsessives, die-hard gamers, smart home fanatics, music fans and even wannabe influencers. And my top pick is currently on sale for just £12.

Most of these are available via Amazon and there’s plenty of stock to go around, so you should be able to get them delivered in time for the big day.

And they’ll usually list if it’s going to arrive before Christmas, so you can avoid disappointment too.

Anker MagGo Power Bank – £45

This is one of my go-to gadgets that I bring absolutely everywhere.

It’s a portable power bank with a thumping great 10,000mAh battery (easily enough to charge many phones twice over).

You can plug in a device via the cable connector, or you can use it wirelessly.

And if you’ve got a MagSafe iPhone model (most recent models are) then it’ll attach magnetically to the power bank.

It also has a kickstand, so you can set your iPhone to charge on it floating in StandBy mode, so it works as a kind of desktop clock. Very cool.

Apple AirTag – £25

Chances are that you’ve already heard of the Apple AirTags, but they’re easy to dismiss if you’ve never used them.

They’re tracker tags that you can attach to (or drop inside) your belongings.

So you might have one on your luggage, in a handbag, on a set of keys, or anything else that you’d rather not lose.

Then you can monitor that item’s location so if you do misplace it, it’s easily found.

They’ll beep out loud too, which is very handy if you’ve dropped the keys down the back of the sofa or under a car seat.

As a bonus tip, you can usually get four AirTags as a bundle with a slight discount on Amazon.

Dyson Supersonic Nural Hair Dryer – £299

Dyson‘s hairdryers are plainly a hit. They’re loved by salons and regular hair-havers alike, thanks to Sir James Dyson and his brainy engineers.

My hair is increasingly vanishing, so I’m precious about what I have left.

That’s why I’m particularly fond of the newer Nural version of the hairdryer, which uses sensors to protect your scalp.

It’ll automatically adjust the temperature of the air flow based on the hairdryer’s current distance from your scalp.

This is one of the most powerful hairdryers on the market – and it has some clever tricks up its sleeveCredit: Sean Keach

So if you move closer, it’ll cool down, and it’ll heat up the further away you are.

It’s meant to stop you overcooking your hair and removing all of the moisture on your scalp.

And it works really well. I mean you can really feel it happening in real-time.

It also has three speed settings, four heat settings, a cool air button, and a load of attachments.

So if you know someone who loves their hair (or maybe doesn’t love their hair enough), this is the gift that will keep on giving.

Ring Outdoor Camera Plus (Battery) – £55

I’ve been using a Ring video doorbell for a while now, and as well as saving packages, it’s captured funny home moments, delivered plenty of cat footage, and allowed us to send spooky Halloween messages to trick-or-treaters.

So I’m already well sold on that.

I’ve recently stuck up the Ring Outdoor Camera Plus (Battery) to watch over the back garden, and I’m hoping it’ll spook intruders and capture plenty of wildlife along the way.

You can add Ring gear to the app and share it with family members, so everyone can get involved.

Peace of mind might just be priceless – and Ring’s Outdoor Cam Plus will get you some of the way thereCredit: Sean Keach

And it gives peace of mind for what isn’t an enormous cost.

So as far as gifts go, it’s a good one.

This outdoor camera runs off a rechargeable battery, captures 2K wide-angle footage, and has a built-in siren function (as well as two-way talk).

Nintendo Switch 2 (Mario Kart bundle) – £409

The Nintendo Switch 2 is the hot new console of the year – and with good reason.

It’s an incredible three-in-one machine that plugs into your TV, has a kickstand for tabletop gaming, and goes fully portable for on-the-go play.

The new model has a giant 7.9-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate (for smooth visuals), comes with a very generous 256GB of storage (versus the old 32GB), and has improved Joy-Con controllers that snap magnetically to the sides of the console.

And the Nintendo Switch 2 Joy-Cons still offer multiplayer gameplay so you and a pal or family member can each grab one to get going.

The blockbuster game is, of course, Mario Kart World, which can be bought bundled with the console.

It’s a brilliant new entry to the iconic franchise that anyone can play – even people with little to no gaming experience.

And for the first time, Mario Kart World lets you explore the spaces between the tracks in a giant connected world that you can drive around. Great fun. I could hardly put it down to write this article.

Nanoleaf Matter Essentials – £12

I come back to Nanoleaf time and time again.

It’s a smart lighting company that serves up all manner of eye-catching strips, bulbs, and panels.

A lightbulb might not sound that exciting – but this gadget is stuffed with clever featuresCredit: Sean Keach

The Matter Essentials bulb is the entry-level option, but it’s brilliant.

You can control it with your phone, changing its colour, warmth, setting up schedules and more.

And if you have a smart speaker at home, you can control it with your voice too.

Buying someone one of these bulbs is a cheap way to get them started on a smart home – and then they can keep adding to the collection until their entire place is fitted with brainy connected lighting.

They take seconds to set up, they’re easy to use, and they’re extremely customisable.

For the price, it’s a no-brainer. The perfect stocking filler or Secret Santa gift for a gadget fan.

Apple AirPods Pro 3 – £219

The Apple AirPods are now a part of daily life for millions of people around the world.

And there exists no better version that the new Apple AirPods Pro 3, which came out in September.

They’ve got plenty of tricks, aside from serving up great audio, connecting seamlessly with your gadgets, and looking the part too.

The big boost this year is a massive improvement to the active noise cancellation, which shuts out the din around you. It really is incredible – you’ll be shocked at how much sound it can shut out.

Beyond my phone and laptop, the AirPods are probably the gadget I’ve used most this year – and the new Pro 3 model is the best of the bunchCredit: Sean Keach

These AirPods can also perform hearing tests, double up as a hearing aid, and even translate speech in real-time if someone is speaking to you in a foreign language.

And if that wasn’t enough, Apple has also fitted them with a heart-rate monitor, so you can use them for logging workouts too.

I wear them every single day. My pro tip? Stick them on when vacuuming and play a podcast. You won’t hear the vac, so it’ll be much more peaceful.

Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K + Luna Controller – £58.98

This one is for the gamers in your life – but you’ll get good fun out of it too.

The Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K isn’t exactly a mystery: it plugs into the back of your telly to grant you access to a vast selection of apps and streaming services.

But if you’re an Amazon Prime member, you also get access to 50 video games courtesy of Amazon Luna.

That includes blockbuster title Hogwarts Legacy, which lets you explore the magical world of Harry Potter.

And you can enjoy those games using Amazon’s Luna Controller bundled here. It’s gaming without a games console – brainy stuff.

DJI Mic 3 – £219

Got a budding influencer in your life? Buying this for them will basically be a dream come true.

DJI is (or was) probably best known for drones, but it’s now one of the major players in microphones too.

And not only is the Mic 3 the newest and most tempting, but it’s also almost a status symbol in the world of posting to social media.

So if you want to become the next TikTok superstar, it’s not a bad buy at all.

It packs in two microphones and a receiver (that plugs into your phone), and they can be transported in a portable charging carry case that also takes windcovers (for the mics), mic clips, and magnetic pads for attaching to your clothes.

And although it’s a powerful bit of kit, it’s very easy to set up and use.

Better still, it might pay for itself once you become an online sensation.

Anker MagGo 3-in-1 Charging Station – £59.99

This is my other must-have charging gadget.

It’s a three-in-one charging stand that lets you power up an iPhone, an Apple Watch, and a pair of AirPods all at the same time.

I’ve always got this charging gadget in my bag with me – it’s a mobile miracleCredit: Sean Keach

And the iPhone part is MagSafe, so you can magnetically attach it to the pad too.

Better yet, it all folds down into a neat little box that is extremely portable.

I take this everywhere I go: the office, visiting family, off on holiday, and away with work.

It’s so practical and useful, I can’t imagine just bringing a regular old cable along anymore.
