LEGO Ideas is a bit like the temple of democracy at LEGO. Creators submit their projects and those who receive 10,000 votes move on to the review phase. But here, we feel that the Danish brand is going to hit hard.

In a new teaser, six employees of the Ideas team pose. No need to be a soothsayer to understand the message, an employee should correspond to a project each. If the calculation is correct, we should be entitled to no less than six simultaneous announcements tomorrow, unheard of in the history of the program.

The platform is drowning in pending projects. For the first review phase of 2025 alone, 57 creations reached the fateful threshold of 10,000 supporters. And 54 additional projects are still awaiting the verdict of the third review phase in 2024. LEGO has plenty to sort through, and apparently, they have chosen to validate several favorites at once.

Licenses that make you salivate

Among the projects already confirmed to become official sets in the coming months, we find some big names. Godzilla, validated last June, promises a giant figurine of the legendary kaiju with lots of moving parts. Tintin’s rocket should also land, a real feat given that the license is known to be difficult to obtain. Snoopy is also on the lucky list, with a potential release by the end of the year to celebrate the character’s 75th birthday. Wallace & Gromit, X-Files, a vintage sewing machine, a sea otter… The variety of projects shows that LEGO IDEAS casts a wide net, from retro to cult licenses.

But be careful, these projects have already been announced previously. Tomorrow’s announcement should reveal brand new sets from the final review phases. We’re particularly eyeing the Pizza delivery truck from Toy Story on our side.

LEGO Ideas breaks bricks

LEGO Ideas is enjoying growing success. For 2025, the brand plans 11 new products from the platform, an absolute record. The latest on the Goonies has just been revealed with its 2,912 pieces and 12 minifigs for 300 euros.

The creators do not lose out: they receive 5% commission on sales and receive five copies of the final set. Even those who see their project refused leave with a consolation prize of $500 in LEGO products. See you tomorrow to find out which projects will join collectors’ shelves.
