Lego is diving into a new era of interactive play with Lego Smart Play. These smart blocks were first revealed at this year’s CES. The Smart Play platform combines physical builds with digital reactions. Lego is starting with the Star Wars ecosystem. This way, you can really lean into your creativity and imagination to recreate your favorite Star Wars scenes.

As part of the launch, Lego is releasing five new Smart Play-enabled Star Wars sets — bringing the total sets to eight — featuring iconic ships and scenes from the franchise. If you’re ready to start playing, you’re in luck. The future of Legos is finally here.

Just so you know, not all eight sets below come with a Lego Smart Brick. In order to get the Smart Brick, you have to order one of these three sets:

These sets come with a Lego Smart Brick and charger, as well as at least one Lego Smart mini figure and Smart tag. Both the TIE Fighter and the X-wing make sounds as you fly them through the air, and the duel in the throne room has the classic lightsaber duel effects.

The Luke’s Landspeeder smart play set is 215 pieces. It allows builders to recreate the first few moments of meeting our hero. This set includes mini Luke Skywalker, Jawa and Gonk Droid figures. When paired with a Lego Smart Brick, you can play with interactive features like repairing the Landspeeder. This set is listed at $40.

Another Smart set that’s available is the AT-ST Attack on Endor. This set has 347 pieces and features two Smart tags and one Smart figurine, Wicket. With this, you can use your Ewok friend to recreate Star Wars: Return of the Jedi’s most epic battle. There are even motion-activated dynamic lights and sounds for the full interactive experience. This mid-level set has a retail price of $50.

The Yoda’s Hut and Jedi Training set is pretty big and features 440 pieces. With this set, you can do, or do not, with lights and sounds from the swamps of Dagobah. The set also includes a Smart Luke Skywalker and a Smart Yoda, allowing them to interact. It also comes with Smart tags that give you access to unique play features when you remove the roof from Yoda’s Hut. This set is selling for $70.

The Mos Eisley Cantina Smart set is available and is the start of recreating some of the first scenes of the OG movie. This set is composed of 666 pieces. This includes two Smart minifigures of Obi-Wan Kenobi and Greedo, as well as three Smart tags. There’s no smart brick included, but if you have one and connect it, it will play music. With this set, you can sing karaoke and even eject droids from the cantina. This set is priced at $80 but you’ll want the next set as well to see who shoots first.

Star Wars sets will interact with all the Smart tags, minifigures and bricks.

The most impressive set being released is the Millennium Falcon set. It’s ginormous with 885 pieces, including four Smart minifigures. These figures are Chewbacca, Luke Skywalker, C-3PO and Han Solo. The set also comes with four Smart tags. This combines with the Lego Smart brick to unlock a ton of cool features, such as shooting lasers from stud shooters and the best sound effects of the movie. This impressive set goes for $100.

These sets are made to react in real time. This helps turn classic Star Wars sets into interactive experiences that go beyond traditional building blocks. Lego says Smart Play will continue to expand through future updates and new launches.

Right now, Star Wars fans can get a taste of the blend of today’s technology and traditional blocks with these Star Wars Smart sets. If you want to make sure you get your hands on one, all five sets are available for purchase now both online and at select retailers.
