LG is all set to unveil its first art TVs, the 55- and 65-inch Gallery TVs, at CES 2026.

These 4K MiniLED TVs come with swappable magnetic frames and a collection of 4,500 artworks accessible via the LG Gallery+ service.

Lifestyle or frame TVs started gaining popularity with the launch of Samsung’s The Frame TV in 2017. These devices are meant to blend seamlessly with home decor and display artwork when not in use, so the screen looks like a framed piece rather than a plain black rectangle. TCL and Hisense make similar TVs.

On LG’s Gallery TVs, you’ll get a Gallery Mode that optimizes color and brightness. Its display panel, on the other hand, reduces glare and reflections to provide a true art-viewing-like experience. Some of the works offered by Gallery+ are free, while others require a monthly subscription via webOS Pay. The images refresh every month and span a wide range of styles, including fine art, cinematic visuals, game artwork, and animations.

Apart from Gallery+ images, you’ll be able to create your own with generative AI, LG says, which Amazon added to its Fire TVs last year. You’ll also be able to display pictures from your photo libraries and pair any image with preset background music or something from your preferred streaming services via Bluetooth.

When not being used as a digital frame, the Gallery TV goes back to being a standard smart TV. It’s powered by the company’s own Alpha 7 AI processor and features an AI audio capability that mimics a virtual 9.1.2 channel setup.

The pricing for the Gallery TV has yet to be revealed, but a full range of Art TVs will be unveiled at CES next month, LG says.
