LG is expanding its Gallery+ service with a major new partnership that could make your living room feel more like a modern art gallery.
The company has teamed up with digital art platform Sedition to bring over 300 curated digital artworks — including exclusive pieces — to LG Smart TVs.
Gallery+ is LG’s premium art subscription service, available on TVs running webOS. It already offers access to more than 5,000 artworks, spanning fine art, cinematic visuals and ambient scenes. With Sedition now onboard, that catalogue leans further into contemporary digital art, with works designed specifically for high-resolution screens.
Sedition has spent over a decade publishing digital art from leading contemporary artists and institutions, specialising in photography, moving image and technology-led works. The new collection on Gallery+ includes contributions from internationally recognised names with several exclusives you won’t find elsewhere.
Among them is SARES, whose Vertigo series blends generative AI, biometric data and mathematical structures to capture moments of intense transformation, while CGI and AI artist Diego Castro (M.O.N.O.M.O) brings his Synthesised Nature digital sculptures. These works explore the blurred line between technology and the organic world.
There’s also work from influential British artist Mat Collishaw, including Burning Flower and The End of Innocence. These appear alongside Turner Prize-winner Mark Titchner, whose The World Isn’t Working delivers a pointed social message through a stained-glass aesthetic.
Rounding out the exclusives are StudioScheele’s Figures of Light — video works combining ballet and digital effects. There are also pieces from Lindsay Kokoska that explore consciousness and surrealism through modern digital processes.
The idea is simple: turn your TV into a digital canvas. Gallery+ lets users curate their own collections and even pair artworks with mood-based background music or personal playlists via Bluetooth.
LG says the move reflects its broader goal of blending display technology with lifestyle experiences. For viewers, it’s a chance to go beyond static wallpaper art and experiment with immersive, screen-native pieces.
If you already own a compatible LG Smart TV, Gallery+ is available via subscription. With Sedition now involved, it’s becoming a far more serious platform for digital art than just a screensaver upgrade.
