The day before the launch of the new cards, the datamining of the game data made it possible to access the visuals with a few hours in advance, the opportunity for some curious people to note that the immersive card of Ho-Oh had been modeled on the drawing of a fan. The teams of Pokémon TCG Pocket did not have to react, assuming an error when choosing the reference images transmitted to the commissioned artist. Race result, extension Wisdom between heaven and sea Was deployed with two empty immersive cards. But it was not until a little more than a week before the new designs appeared.
Two sublime cards but to a dubious animation
Even if we regret the disappearance of initial designs, the new versions offered today are just as surprising … in a static version at least. All the interest of immersive cards lies in the special animation they contain, but this time, it is clear that the teams of Pokémon TCG Pocket had to have an effect with the means at hand.

On the Ho-Oh card, The drawing of the legendary Pokémon remains completely static, like a transparent PNG file that walks on a animated background. Thus, even if the surrounding effects are sublime, we expected more for a legendary Pokémon as majestic as Ho-Oh.
I like the art but it feels a little ofd when it moves which makes sense given it wasnt the intended drawing for the immersive. I still like the card art when still pic.twitter.com/larortkqZc
