AMERICANS across 10 states could be eligible for a $600 cash bonus from a major US bank.
Huntington National Bank is offering it to customers who take action before the August 15 deadline.

There is also the option to get a $400 bonus if you fulfil the qualifying requirements.
All it takes is three simple steps and extra cash could be in your account within two weeks.
To get the $600 bonus, customers must open a Platinum Perks Checking account.
They then have to make new money deposits of $25,000 or more within the first 90 days of opening it.
Lastly, they must keep the checking account open for 90 days.
The cash bonus will then be paid in by the bank within 14 days of completing these steps.
Similar steps are in place for those who want to qualify for the $400 bonus.
For this, customers must open a new Perks Checking account and within the first 90 days pay in qualifying direct deposits of $500 or more.
Again, the account must be open for 90 days before the bonus is paid out.
However, to receive either bonus, the accounts must be opened by August 15 to qualify.
Accounts can be opened at a branch or online but the bonus will only be applied when you use go through the bank’s promotions page here.
There is a catch in that the bonus is only available to customers living across 10 states including Illinois, Kentucky, and Michigan.

Meanwhile, those who want some more time to mull over opening a new account could qualify for a different cash bonus offered by the bank.

Huntington is also paying out a $1,000 cash bonus to customers who open an Unlimited Plus Business Checking account by October 16.
Again, there are a number of qualifying criteria you must fulfil, including how much money you pay in.
For those with less money, there is another $400 cash bonus promotion they might be eligible for.
Other major banks including Chase, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo are also running checking account cash bonus promotions.
It is worth shopping around to find out which ones best suit your needs and financial situation.
