A MAJOR broadband provider has slashed the cost of its most popular broadband packages – and is now throwing in Netflix for free as part of a new deal.
The biggest offers include M500 broadband with Netflix for £27.99 a month, down from £33.99, and the ultra-fast Gig1 plan for £29.99, reduced from £38.99.

The sale runs until November 5 2025 and covers 24-month contracts across Virgin Media’s broadband range.
There’s also no setup fee, saving new customers an extra £35 upfront.
These discounted rates are intended for new customers.
However, existing users nearing the end of their contracts are encouraged to call and negotiate, as many have matched or even beaten the new-customer prices by threatening to leave.

Little-known hacks to claim FREE Netflix, Disney+ and Apple TV
Virgin Media has made several big changes this year as it leans further into streaming.
In July, the company replaced its old recording-based TV 360 box with a new Stream box, which delivers Freeview channels and apps like Netflix and Disney+ directly over broadband.
However, it cannot record shows, which may be a drawback for some households.
Earlier this month, Virgin Media overhauled its pricing structure, raising the annual price increase from £3.50 to £4 a month while adding Netflix to several broadband and TV bundles.
It also upgraded Sky Sports channels to HD at no extra cost, a move long requested by customers.
Virgin Media’s October sale includes four broadband-only plans, all with no setup fees.
The entry-level M125 plan is now £23.99 a month for speeds up to 132Mbps, while the M350 plan is £25.99 for speeds up to 362Mbps.
The M500 plan, which includes Netflix, costs £27.99 a month for speeds up to 500Mbps, and the top-tier Gig1 plan, also with Netflix included, costs £29.99 a month for speeds of more than 1Gbps and comes with a Wi-Fi guarantee.
The M500 and Gig1 deals offer the best value, bundling Netflix with high-speed broadband for less than the broadband alone usually costs.
Netflix Standard with Ads normally costs £5.99 per month when purchased separately.
The M500 plan at £27.99 is likely to suit most households. If bought separately, M500 broadband would cost £33.99 and Netflix £5.99, bringing the total to nearly £40.
Even when Virgin’s annual price rises kick in – to £31.99 from April 2026 and £35.99 from April 2027 – it remains cheaper overall.
With average speeds of 500Mbps, homes can easily stream 4K content, hold video calls and game online without buffering.
Existing customers can often secure similar deals by calling Virgin Media directly.
Out-of-contract prices can rise sharply, sometimes to as much as £72 for M500 or £78 for Gig1, so it pays to renegotiate before your contract ends.
If you’re an O2 mobile customer, Virgin’s Volt bundles may be worth a look.
They combine broadband and mobile plans, offering speed boosts and extra data at no extra cost.
