SKY customers are in line for more reshuffles to its channel guide, which will kick off in days.
Whether you’re watching on Sky+, Sky Q, or the newer Sky Glass and Stream, your usual favourites could be vanishing or taking on new identities in the blink of an eye.

This is just one of the changes expected by the TV giant over the next few weeks.
On August 18, Sky Adventure will settle into its new role as Sky Family.
And that’s not all, on the same day, horror and sci-fi fanatics get a stellar treat as Sky Sci-Fi & Horror boldly goes where it’s never gone before — rebranding as Sky Star Trek for a cosmic temporary change.
Two days later, on August 20, music fans will notice a nostalgic twist — That’s Summer gets turned up to eleven as it becomes That’s Rock, and That’s Dance trades in the club for a throwback as it transforms into That’s Oldies.
And then, in a flurry of final switches, August 22 will see Sky Animation martial arts-kick its way into becoming kungfupandaHD, and Sky Favourites goes full throttle with a turbo-charged new identity: Sky Fast.
Lastly, Sky Star Trek ends its space voyage and reverts to Sky Sci-Fi & Horror, closing out a whirlwind month of switches, swaps, and surprises.
The shifts started on August 1, when Sky Sports Action became SkySp Lions — a temporary roar for rugby fans on channel 412 for satellite viewers, and 410 for Glass users.
The changes continued on August 2 when Sky Greats morphed into Sky Jaws for a sharp-toothed celebration of the classic shark saga.
On August 4, Sky Antiheroes ditched its darker side and reverted back to Sky Hits HD.
Meanwhile, Sky Schools Out got a fresh coat of paint as Sky Adventure, and Sky Jaws swam back to its original Sky Greats branding.
This comes after we revealed the cheeky Sky customers can bag fresh telly on the cheap.
There are three apps on your Sky TV that can give you extra telly to watch.
You can find them right in the Apps & Inputs folder on your Home Screen.
If you can’t see them right away, you might need to scroll right to the end.
First up is Xumo Play, which has over 75 channels available to watch for free.
The catch is that you’ll need to sit through ads – but that’s the case with most Sky TV channels anyway.
Load up the app and you’ll be able to scroll through a special bonus TV guide with loads of channels.
That includes a Xumo Movies channel (with some “originals), plus Sky Sports Classics, Dateline 24/7, and a Mythbusters channel.
It also has loads of on-demand TV shows and movies too. It doesn’t carry the big names you might find on Netflix or Disney+, but it’s a great way to find a cheesy film for movie night.
The second app worth taking a look at for free telly is called U.
Its official description reads: “Whether you love documentaries, crave comedy or want to lose yourself in a great drama – whatever you want to watch, whenever you want to watch it.”
U is packed with on-demand content across for loads of different TV shows.
For instance, you can watch The Office, Would I Lie To You?, I’m Alan Partridge, Anthony Bourdain Parts Unknown, Doctor Foster, MasterChef Australia, Prison Break, and The Bill.
It’s all content from UKTV’s free-to-air channels like U&Dave, U&Drama, U&W, and U&Yesterday.
There’s no subscription fee, but you will need to register for an account before you can watch any telly.
