In September 2021, then in full development of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2Insomniac Games already announced their next game with Marvel’s Wolverine. More than three years later (despite a big wave of leaks at the end of 2022), we are no news of the title that many hoped to have arrived in 2025. Alas, we probably won’t have to count on it.

A few hours ago, we learned of the retirement of the emblematic CEO and founder of Insomniac Games, Ted PriceAfter more than 30 years at the head of the company. It was on this occasion that Variety was able to speak with the new management of the studio, now led by Ryan Schneider, Chad Dezern and Jen Huang. The three men returned to the different projects and the current situation of Insomniac Games. And regarding the game Wolverinewell, there is simply nothing to say about it at the moment :
“We’ve announced Wolverine and we’d like to talk more about it. But, we have to be like Logan today and stay very stoic until it’s time to get our claws out. Even though we are very excited, we have to stick with it. That’s about all we could say about our upcoming projects today.”
It is therefore not necessary clearly not waiting this next title for 2025, and even for 2026, it is not certain that the studio is ready. This year there is a good chance that all Sony resources are mobilized on Ghost of Yoteithe next Sucker Punch game already announced for 2025. Next year, everything suggests that it’s Naughty Dog and its new license Intergalactic : The Heretic Prophet who will have the right to his moment of glory. Logan could therefore, for his part, arrive in 2027. Who knows, perhaps in the PS6 launch game?
