Home fitness equipment brand, Merach, unveiled its new UltraTread T70 Aura at CES 2026. The UltraTread uses an AI-powered coach and is designed with professional joint protection in mind.
If you’re used to exercising on a treadmill, then you know it can be tough on the joints, and sometimes it’s hard to tell what pace to choose when running or jogging.
The built-in AI coach, which the company states is the first of its kind, not only communicates with the runner but also personalizes their workouts and adjusts the treadmill’s speed and incline based on changes in their heart rate.
To get a heart rate reading, the UltraTread pairs with the Apple Watch (the only fitness tracker it’s currently compatible with), which connects to the AI function that ensures users stay within their optimal cardio health zones. This gives the runner peace of mind that they’re exercising efficiently and safely.
Merach’s currently available T12 treadmill, which has a similar look to the UltraTread T70 Aura.
Merach developed its own KneeGuard triple-layer suspension system that absorbs 49 times more impact and has a 66% energy return. This impact absorption decreases joint stress, which is commonly experienced by runners. This form of technology is primarily used in professional gyms by elite athletes, but Merach has now made it more accessible to the average consumer.
The Merach UltraTread T70 Aura is expected to be available for purchase later this year and will retail between $1,200 and $2,000, depending on the model’s motor size and display options.
