Remember the moments of sharing and pleasure that you experienced on the essential Wii Sports. The multiplayer game, part of the Wii launch line-up, enjoyed incredible critical and commercial success (82.90 million copies sold).
Players had a blast letting off steam in Wii Sports’ five sports: bowling, tennis, golf, boxing and baseball. The interaction with the Wiimote made the concept even more fun and original. Nintendo tried to repeat the experience with the very good Ring Fit Adventure on Switch. What if, almost 20 years later, Meta tried to successfully step into Nintendo’s territory? The American company has just revealed Home Sports, a mixed reality multiplayer game.
Home Sports, Meta’s Wii Sports mixed reality, arrives December 11
Meta unveils a first trailer for its Home Sports mixed reality game dedicated to its Meta Quest 3 and 3S headsets. Like Wii Sports, the game developed by Resolution Games allows you to have fun in several different disciplines: pickleball, very popular in recent years, hockey, bowling, mini golf and badminton.
“Invite up to three friends to join you, locally or online, and compete in exciting multiplayer matches. Each sport adapts to your personal playing space to more easily immerse you in the heart of the action,” writes Meta on the game’s official page.

Home Sports is therefore a mixed reality title to share. The trailer shows how the playing space adapts to the player to reinforce immersion, whether when hitting the puck with the stick in hockey or achieving a strike (in the best case scenario) in bowling .
« Home Sports also uses the “no limits” feature to give you the flexibility to move as much as you want, so you can stay relaxed, sweat or let off steam. Best of all, you can play all these sports indoors, even when the weather is terrible outside », adds Meta. The title published by Oculus will be released exclusively on Meta Quest 3 and 3S on December 11.
Remember that Resolution Games is not its first attempt in the field of mixed reality. The studio has already published Racket Club and Spatial Ops, two games in RM.
