MICHAEL Strahan was given a huge honor from Fox NFL Sunday colleague Jimmy Johnson.
The sequence occurred on Fox NFL Pregame ahead of the Divisional Round action between the Washington Commanders and Detroit Lions.
This week, it was revealed that Strahan was voted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
The New York Giants legend played at Texas Southern University product from 1989-1992.
During the opening minutes of Fox NFL Pregame, the show turned its attention to the Dallas Cowboys legend Johnson, who held a special football from the College Football Hall of Fame dedicated to Strahan.
“I got to pass on an honor. This week, Michael Strahan, you were voted into the National College Hall of Fame,” Johnson said as he then gave the ball to Strahan.

The Fox NFL Pregame crew also cheered for Strahan.
“Nice little surprise!” the NFL Hall of Famer said.
Strahan then sent a message to Terry Bradshaw.
“I’m surprised you didn’t tell me [about the football gift] because I know you can’t hold a secret,” he told the Pittsburgh Steelers legend.
Bradshaw chuckled as Strahan continued to share his appreciation of the honor.
“Thank you. I appreciate it… Texas Southern University baby. Love you,” the 53-year-old added.
The football read, “The National Football Foundation Congratulates Michael Strahan – Texas Southern University – As A Member Of The 2025 College Football Hall Of Fame Class.”
Strahan played 15 seasons with the Giants and won a Super Bowl in 2007-08 – his final campaign in the NFL.
He earned seven Pro Bowl nods and was voted to six All-Pro teams.
Strahan was voted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2014.
During his collegiate career, Strahan graduated with both TSU’s single-season sack record (19) in 1992 along with the all-time sack record (41.5).

He also earned a first-team All-American and two-time SWAC Defensive Player of the Year, among other accolades.
Strahan is part of the College Football Hall of Fame Class of 2025 which includes coaching legends Nick Saban, and Urban Meyer, and players Haloti Ngota and Michael Vick.
The class will be inducted during the 67th NFF Annual Awards Dinner Presented by Las Vegas on December 9 at the Bellagio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.
