Microsoft has partnered with the company dedicated to the educational world Pearson to launch an initiative focused on improving workers’ skills and prepare them so they can work with AIboth currently and in the future.
To do this, as both companies have communicated, they will develop several co-pilots, agents and AI tools to help interested people develop skills in Artificial Intelligence. In general, the idea that both parties have is to give a boost to the learning tools that Pearson develops with Microsoft Azure Cloud, which will also help Pearson to scale its AI, and its educational proposals around it.
Microsoft will develop its proposal based on its current use of Pearson VUE, the educational company’s certification platform, giving more people access to existing certifications until 2029, the year in which the agreement that has just been signed will expire. As part of the agreement, Pearson employees will also begin using Microsoft 365 Copilot globally.
Pearson has not yet offered details on what the co-pilots or training tools that will be developed as part of this initiative will look like. They have only commented that they will help workers and companies identify the skills they need for the new positions that will open in an environment in which AI will play an important role. Also to have the necessary resources to optimize existing positions so that they adapt to working with Artificial Intelligence in areas where the use of AI is expected to advance significantly.
It is still unknown, also the Price they will have. the new AI certifications that are created as part of the agreementnor when they will be available. It is only known that They will arrive in a few monthswithout specific date.
