Moevethe new name since October 2024 of CEPSA, has announced the David Liras appointment as Nuevo Chief Digital and Information Offerwith the mission of giving an impulse to the technological and digital transformation of the company. With this appointment, in addition, the company’s information and digital systems areas will become a single team, attached to the Directorate of Technology, Projects and Services.
Liras is an computer engineer from the Pontifical University of Salamanca, and has completed its training with postgraduate courses in MIT, ESADE and IE. He has been working in Moeve for more than 15 years, where he has held different positions in the Digital and Information Systems areas. Before this new position, he occupied the Digital Directorate and Information Systems of the Moeve Chemistry Area.

At present, Moeve is a multinational with more than 11,000 employees and aims to become one of the engines of the energy transition in Europe, in addition to collaborating in the decarbonization of its customers.
It is also advancing in the production of sustainable energies based on green molecules, such as green and biofuels second generation, as well as in the production of sustainable chemicals. On the other hand, the company is developing an ultra -grape electric charge network in Spain and Portugal.
