Google Maps has added a super handy new feature that knows exactly where you’ve parked.

You’ve been able to pin the location of your car on Google Maps for sometime now, but that feature has required you to manually enter it – which people often forget to do.

This latest big update will mark where you’ve parked automatically for you.

So, there’s no more need for frustratingly trying to locate your vehicle in a car park anymore wasting huge amounts of time in the process.

Mystery tower spotted at Area 51 on Google & onlookers insist it’s ‘alien tech’

“Worry no more, because Google Maps will remember for you,” Google Maps senior product manager Rio Akasaka said.

“No more taking photos in parking lots or fiddling with app settings or taking screenshots to remember.”

So how does it work?

You’ll need to connect your phone to your car with USB, Bluetooth or CarPlay for it to work.

When you’ve finished driving a little pin will appear on Google Maps.

And when you drive again it’ll disappear.

It will remain saved in the app for 48 hours unless you choose to remove it or start driving.

However, there is one important catch to be mindful of.

The feature is only available on iPhone for now.

That may surprise some people given that Google own’s iPhone’s main operating system rival, Android.
