NBC Sports has revealed the staggering commercial cost to be aired in Super Bowl 60.

NBC will broadcast the upcoming Super Bowl in February 2026 at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

Fox Sports made over $800 million in ad revenue from its broadcast of Super Bowl 59 back in February.

The network received plenty of demand for the Super Bowl commercials.

And NBC will be looking to get the same interest in their ad prices.

NBC will ask for $8 million for a 30-second Super Bowl commercial this February, a source told Adweek recently.

The report added that the network had been “selling out of units priced at $7 million during upfront season in the spring.”

NBC is also asking for an $8 million ad buy across its other sports properties from prospective buyers.

“There will be a fair number of clients – that are paying $8 million a spot and matching that dollar volume in other sports with NBC,” one buyer said to Adweek.

NBC seems to have taken notice of what Fox was able to pull off in the last Super Bowl.

Fox was able to sell numerous commercial spots for more than $8 million late in the 2024 NFL season, when 10 advertisers backed out and the network got buyers who paid a higher rate.

They had initially asked for around $7 million per spot.

Fox also required a bidding war across its other sports properties, according to Adweek.

NBC will look to surpass Fox’s recent Super Bowl record of ad revenue, as the network is currently “in discussions with the NFL for additional inventory.”

Fox also had extra inventory in last year’s Super Bowl.

The latest Super Bowl saw the Philadelphia Eagles clobber the Kansas City Chiefs, 40-22.

The network will have a busy 2026, to say the least.

It will be the first year that NBC broadcasts the NBA since 2002.

NBC also broadcasts the Winter Olympics and the NBA All-Star Game.

The network will ask for $8 million-plus for a 30-second ad and an $8 million match in both tentpole events.
