Last Friday, Chinese gaming publisher NetEase unveiled plans for a new martial arts fantasy role-playing game, Sword Heart Dragon Carver (our translation), and announced job openings in planning and art at its Shanghai-based subsidiary studio, Lin’an 24th. The game is designed for multiple platforms and features a flexible buyout system, allowing players to purchase content based on their preferences and budget. Zhang Yijun, the producer of Sword Heart Dragon Carver, is renowned for creating the Gujian series, a highly acclaimed role-playing game that blends traditional Chinese culture, mythology, and martial arts.
