Netflix(NFLX) sues Broadcom (AVGO) allege that the company’s cloud computing subsidiary VMware has violated its patent rights to “virtual machines” that run another computer’s operating software on a host computer, the lawsuit says. According to the lawsuit, VMware’s cloud software infringes five Netflix patents on aspects of controlling virtual machines.
