The next OnePlus flagship made its debut appearance on Chinese social media this week.

Specifically, a post on Weibo (courtesy of 9to5Google) featured a photo of a bunch of professional esports athletes all huddled around a phone to take a selfie, with the caption saying “Guess what they were looking at?” Pretty much everyone seems to believe that this is the OnePlus 15, and the big news here is that it looks very different from last year’s model.

Specifically, it has a square camera module on the back, as opposed to the circular one on the OnePlus 13. For context, OnePlus is said to be skipping 14 and going straight to 15 because of cultural reasons. Prominent leaker Digital Chat Station also said on Weibo that the phone has a matte texture with a ceramic coating of some sort. It’s also apparently thinner than the iPhone 17, but we don’t know anything else about it beyond all of that.

Last year, the OnePlus 13 launched in January, so perhaps we will learn more by then.
