Dutch semiconductor company Nexperia has denied online allegations that its headquarters stopped paying salaries to employees in China and cut off system access for its China operations. In an official statement, the company said: “We are aware that individuals from Nexperia’s China entities have been spreading false claims that Nexperia and the Dutch government have abandoned the Chinese market and that the factories are now operating independently under a new entity. Others have also claimed that Nexperia failed to pay its employees. These statements are untrue and misleading.” Nexperia added that it has reported these accusations to the authorities and reaffirmed its ongoing commitment to supporting its employees and customers in China.
