NINTENDO is known for having the cheapest subscription service, with almost 300 games you can play as part of the package.
Switch Online also only adds games and never removes them, giving even better value to the service.
The one downside is that Nintendo Switch Online only features older games from Nintendo’s library.
The most recent console included in the selection is the N64, meaning that the games are at least 20 years old.
However, Nintendo has an excellent selection of legacy games, so people still love what Switch Online has to offer.
Earlier this week, Nintendo announced that three SNES games, including Fatal Fury 2 had been added to the platform.
The latest game to be added to Nintendo Switch Online is Ridge Racer 64, which, as the title suggests, was originally released for the N64.
This means that it is only part of Nintendo Switch Online’s more expensive tier, Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
Ridge Racer is a long-running and popular series of racing games, but this is the only entry that was launched on the N64.
Originally released in 2000, there are 20 tracks that players can race on, including some from older entries in the series.
The version available on Nintendo Switch Online will include online multiplayer, so up to four people can race against each other.
If you want to play Ridge Racer 64 on your Switch, you will need to be subscribed to Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack.
You can then go to the eShop on your Nintendo Switch and download the N64 app.
Choose the game that you want to play via the app, and the game should open with benefits such as save states.
