February 25 – NVIDIA (NVDA, Financial) and Cisco (CSCO, Financial) deepen their long -term partnership to support innovation in Enterprise AI. The Nvidia Spectrum-X Ethernet network platform will be integrated into the very powerful, robust network systems of Cisco to increase the speed and simplify AI-Workloads for the companies. The partnership hopes to achieve this by combining Nvidia Silicon One with Nvidia Supernics with Cisco’s operating system software, to deliver a uniform infrastructure that offers improved efficiency and scale for customers.
NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang stated: “Together with the Cisco business platforms and the worldwide range, we can help companies worldwide to build state-of-the-art nvidia infrastructure while racing to transform with AI.” Cisco is planning to develop Datacenter switches with NVIDIA Spectrum-X technology, which facilitates standardization on front-end and back-end networks. This collaboration is designed to offer customers flexible implementation options and to simplify network management for both business and cloud environments.
